About Jenna

“We are all deserving and capable of achieving peace in our lives. But to do that, we must be willing to look inward, because that’s where the change will occur.” —Jenna Korf

Jenna Korf is a certified stepfamily and relationship coach and a continuing education provider for therapists (License #PCE 5195).

She’s co-author of the upcoming self-help book “Skirts At War: Creating Peace Amidst  Divorced Moms and Stepmom Conflict.”

In addition to coaching stepmoms and couples, Jenna is the stepmom voice on the popular blog No One’s the Bitch, a site dedicated to helping divorced moms and stepmoms overcome their conflict. She also writes a monthly feature in StepMom Magazine called “The Ex Factor,” is a blogger for The Huffington Post and has been featured on CNN.com as a stepfamily expert.

Jenna lives in Redwood City, California and enjoys a fulfilling life. She’s the stepmom of two teenage boys and a kick-ass wife to the man who makes it all worth it.

Jenna’s Story…

Jenna has never been one to sit back and wait for life to happen. So in 2007, she spontaneously left her life in Florida behind and moved to Northern California where she  met her husband. Jenna became an instant stepmom and quickly realized she was unprepared for how difficult being a stepmom would be.

Being the self-starter that she is, when Jenna couldn’t find any local support groups, she created one; the Bay Area Step-Parent’s Survival Group. They meet monthly and give fellow stepparents a support system they wouldn’t otherwise have.

Jenna’s passion for helping people led her to become a Registered Nurse in 1996. But in 2009, she realized she wanted to help in a different way, so she attended the Relationship Coaching Institute and received her certification as a relationship coach. She has since expanded her coaching practice to include stepmoms and couples, and in 2012 received her certification as a Stepfamily Coach from The Stepfamily Foundation.

In December of 2010, Jennifer Newcomb Marine asked Jenna to be the stepmom voice on the well-known blog, No One’s the Bitch. She uses her extensive experience and knowledge of stepfamily dynamics to help divorce-connected families bridge the gap between them.

In just three short years, Jenna had transformed her life. She lives life to the fullest and is dedicated to helping others do the same.

Jenna’s blog recently won third place in the “Top 25 Moms with Blended Families- 2012” contest from Circle of Moms.
